Veravote is a digital voting platform that uses zero-knowledge (zk) technology to enable secure, private, and verifiable elections. By accessing or using Veravote, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Who Can Use Veravote

You may use Veravote if:

  • You are authorized to participate in an election (as an admin or voter)
  • You provide accurate and truthful information
  • You comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Admins are responsible for ensuring their elections follow local laws and institutional rules.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate or disrupt elections
  • Vote more than once where restricted
  • Share voting links or credentials
  • Access elections you are not authorized to participate in
  • Reverse engineer or abuse the system

Any misuse may result in suspension or termination of access.

Election Integrity

While Veravote provides tools to secure elections, election organizers (admins) are responsible for:

  • Voter eligibility
  • Election setup accuracy
  • Distribution of voting links

Veravote is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect configuration or misuse by admins.

Availability & Reliability

We strive to keep Veravote available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may temporarily suspend the platform for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons.

Limitation of Liability

Veravote is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

  • Lost access due to user error
  • Election outcomes
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Use of the platform is at your own risk.
